Dhanishtha Jan Kalyan Seva Sansthan, Lucknow, has its focus on community & rural development, which encompasses women empowerment, child rights etc. & contributes to make a self sufficient society.

Dhanishtha Jan Kalyan Seva Sansthan, registered in the year of 2022, has the aim of providing skill development in agriculture, art, & culture. Also, work for the upliftment of dalit community, differently abled students. disaster management, drinking water, education, health, & family welfare, HIV/AIDS awareness, human rights, labour & employment, micro finance (SHGs), micro small & medium enterprises, minority issues, new & renewable energy, nutrition, rural development & poverty alleviation, urban development & poverty alleviation, vocational training, water resources, women development & empowerment.

Empowering Women through Tailoring Program

From January 12th to April 12th, 2024, our organization successfully ran "EmpowerHer," a tailored program designed to uplift women. Throughout the program, participants engaged in workshops and seminars focused on personal growth and development. Legal Awareness

To educate them with the legal rights & government schemes awareness classes has been provided regularly. This has helped them to attain their rights and also act against the violence which some of them are facing. They were also supported with legal counselling by legal advisor.

Distribution of Tailoring Machine

The married women were given sewing machines to help them advance their abilities and earn extra money. The standard of life and the quality time spent have both improved as a result. They were also offered classes on a regular basis. They now concentrate on launching a business soon.

Skill development classes

The women in the village were given access to skill development programs, which have assisted them with their financial problems. Most of the women have started working regularly and have actively participated in the session.

Program

Tailoring Program

In this program, regular tailoring classes are taken for the women to upgrade their skills. Tailoring machines were distributed among the married women to develop their skills & also as an additional source of income generation. This program has shown an impact on the lives of women to a great extent.

Skill development Program

Under skill development program, various classes were provided for the women in the village, which has helped them with their financial issues. The majority of the women have actively participated in the class and have also started working on a regular basis.
